Container production planned for Yesipovo industrial park

China Amulite plans container production in Yesipovo, starting with standard units before refrigerated models. Planned investment remains a phased project goal.

China Amulite Group plans to manufacture cargo containers at Yesipovo industrial park in the Moscow region. Interfax reported the agreement on 6 June 2024. The proposed factory in Russia would begin with standard containers before adding refrigerated units.

Investment divided into stages

Linked review points along a manufacturing investment timeline
A phased factory project requires separate checks of each milestone.

The announcement put first-stage investment at about RUB 2.5 billion within a total project budget of approximately RUB 9.5 billion. First products were targeted for summer 2025. These figures describe the programme announced at the time, not money already spent or output already delivered.

Separating the stages matters when assessing progress. A first production line and the full product range are different milestones. Completion of one would not, on its own, demonstrate that every subsequent part of the investment programme had been carried out. The same distinction applies to an initial delivery and a sustained manufacturing operation.

Product scope comes before volume

Standard and refrigerated containers serve different cargo requirements. The planned sequence therefore concerns what the factory would make, as well as when it would start. It should not be read as a published measure of the number of containers that customers could purchase each year: the report does not provide that annual output figure.

A factory announcement is not a freight forecast

For logistics buyers, the relevant commercial questions include product availability, delivery schedules and support after purchase. A manufacturing agreement does not settle those questions or establish how customers will allocate orders. They require evidence from the operating business rather than assumptions drawn from a construction plan.

The proposed facility also should not be treated as a forecast of freight demand. Producing transport equipment and moving cargo are separate activities. A later assessment would need to connect verified production with actual customer requirements, while keeping the original announcement date visible. For now, the news establishes a phased manufacturing proposal and its intended product sequence.
